Immersed
in dreamlike surroundings, shadowed by “Il
Tombolo,” a centuries-old pine wood and
located only a few steps away from an unblemished
sea, lies Residence La Canova II.
Built
in the beginning of the last century as a classic
Tuscan farm, La Canova II was originally composed
of the owner’s house, a typical small church,
farmhouses and cow sheds.
It became a residence for tourists between the
1980’s and 1990’s thanks to the new
owner. Partially immersed in the “Diaccia
Botrona Natural Park,” La Canova II is home
to a wide range of native plants and birds as
well as animals such as wild hare, porcupines
and squirrels as well as foxes and wild boar.
In addition, there are numerous paths and trails
in which to explore the uncontaminated surroundings.
